The Challenge

Orion Engineering is a full-service engineering design firm specializing in automation, electrical, process, civil, and mechanical engineering services for various industrial sectors. Covering the entire project lifecycle from front-end engineering design to plant commissioning and start-up, they needed a brand that matched the caliber of their expertise and positioned them as industry leaders.

The Approach

Our strategy and creative team developed a complete rebrand, creating compelling design and messaging concepts for marketing materials and establishing guidelines for brand consistency. We crafted a new logo inspired by Orion, the hunter, featuring a Grecian helmet logomark and customized typography that conveys strength, power, and leadership. The three stars from Orion's belt were incorporated into a celestial map ring as a distinctive visual asset.

The Results

Following the rebrand, Orion Engineering rolled out a comprehensive suite of marketing assets: a new website, updated brochure, refreshed LinkedIn business page, and a polished proposal deck. In industrial engineering, the quality of the opportunity is directly connected to the credibility you project. Procurement teams and plant managers choosing an engineering partner for complex, high-risk projects are not selecting on price alone, they are selecting on trust. The new brand identity gave Orion the visual authority to be taken seriously by those buyers, opening doors to larger and more complex project conversations that the previous brand could not have supported.
